Purchased this saw for my husband. The item came in good time. Imagine my surprise when we found the battery and the charger were not included, nor were they available from Amazon. We contacted Troybilt by phone and found the battery and the charger will be another $125! Almost double what we paid for a useless saw. This kind of marketing with no mention of the lack of battery or charger is dishonest. I checked again to make sure and there is no mention anywhere on the page about the battery or charger not being included. Deceptive business practice!

All Troy-Bilt rechargeable tooly are sold without batteries or recharger, and I can't find them sold anywhere. Useless!

All you got to do is go to Troy's web site and there is the battery and charger to purchase. Not too hard to figure that out. They sell the saw and sell what needs to go with it. The preson that said could not find it anywhere never heard of Google either? Oh well....
