Anticipating damage from Hurricane Irene, we ordered this chainsaw to upgrade from our 16" Husqvarna. Shipping was unbelievable. The Amazon page said I had 0 hours and 0 minutes to order it for Saturday delivery. Amazingly, it arrived on time. Our good luck ended there.

When we opened the box and began to put it together, the problems started. The instructions were cryptic, to say the least. Solo provides two parts, only one of which is used, depending on the size of the chain. The directions say that it is very important that you do not use the incorrect part.

Since the chain size was not on the packaging, we went online to look up the part number so we could find out what size the chain is. That's when we found out that they had shipped the wrong bar and chain.

The bar number is for a pruning attachment and is only 18" long. The chain matches the bar at .325".
