Amazon.com Product Description
The Poulan 14-inch, 33 cc gas chain saw is perfect for light cutting jobs around the yard, with a cutting capacity of 28 inches diameter. The auto-oiling system keeps the 14-inch steel bar and chain fully lubricated. For safety, the inertia-activated chain brake stops the rotation of the chain should kickback occur. The chain saw features a primer bulb for an easy start. The unit comes fully assembled and includes a 1-year warranty.
Comment: I have always used Poulan saws for over 20 years. Now with the new emission standards, the power is not what it used to be and the carbs get blocked up easily and it does not stay running. Time to look for a different brand.

Comment: Purchased this locally for a little more than amazon. This thing definitely gets the job done and has enough power for everything i have attempted. Good choice for the weekend warrior. I wish the kit would have included chain bar oil, it does come with two stroke oil and the necessary adjustment tools. I wish the fuel level/tank was visible so you know when it is out of gas.

Summary: hard starter 2010-01-22
Comment: I've had mine two years and used it four times. It cuts fine if you can get it started. Hard starting, especially when hot, even if you follow their directions. It won't idle more than a few seconds. I would not buy it again.

Summary: Good little chainsaw 2009-12-25
Comment: I grew up on an acarage selling wood in the winters for extra money, and I have always trusted homelite machines with my sawing. I have run this machine for just over 2 years now and it works like a charm everytime I go to use it. I purchased it in a pinch (my homelite's at my mother's place) after a big storm to clean up a tree that fell on my house (4 hours away). I was initially very upset with this, difficult to start, and difficult to keep running. However, after about the first 2 tanks of gas through this, the little woodshark was earning it's keep. Now it's follow the start up instructions and off it starts, and will run until the tank is empty or you shut it off. I've cut many a cord of wood with this and I reccomend this, a good value for a now occasonal user like me.

Summary: Took a Chance & Won 2009-11-13
Comment: The poor reviews worried me, but at the low refurb price, I thought I'd take a chance. The saw started easily, but wouldn't cut. Having had other saws, I knew it was a dull chain. I called customer service, and they sent me a new chain in 2 1/2 days, no charge. No need to go to a service center, of which there is none locally. Today I cut like a fiend. Now, if it only lasts. I'm happy.
