Replacement air filter from Oregon. Keep your chainsaw running efficiently with a clean air filter. This filter has a fleece (flocked) material on the surface that picks up fine particles of dust. They filter very well (which is a good thing), but tend to ice up in sub freezing conditions. We recommend a nylon mesh filter for frozen sawing conditions. These filters can load up quickly, so keep a couple of spares handy. Fits newer model 024 and 026 chainsaws (see Specifications).Fits the following chainsaws:Stihl 024*, 026*, MS 240, MS 260Fits 024 after Serial Number 1 46 941 698. Fits 026 after serial number X 32 252 038. This filter has the Intellicarb hole, and is too wide for older models 024 & 026. The first filter I received was not "Fleece" but metal screen. Once I submitted a poor review of the vendor, the sent a replacment that was also not "Fleece" but pourly casted plastic. They said O-Well they did their best. I never did get a Fleece Filter.
