I have an electric chain saw that exhibits a propensity to leak when lower viscosity bar oil is used. This product worked perfectly and is perfect for all chain saws whether oiled manually or automatically.

Well, this oil does the job and I guess that's the point so it great by me. So far has kept my new chain saw up and running with nary a hitch so would recommend. Probably will buy a gallon size next time as I didn't realize how much oil a chain saw can use but for now quart size was fine. I have to admit being a woman in her 50's I don't know a great deal about oil or chainsaw oil but if it works then celebrate!

Oregon makes great chainsaw products, and their chain bar oil is no exception. Can you find chain bar oil that's cheaper? Sure. Yet for me, the peace of mind that comes from using high-quality bar oil in my Stihl chainsaws is worth the extra couple of bucks.
