This is a decent plastic 16-inch bar and chain cover at a good price. I actually purchased this to use with my 10-inch Remington pole saw, which only came with crappy cardboard sleeve for a cover.
I cut about 6-inches or so off the end this Oregon cover and punched a 1/4-inch hole through the top edge to attach a piece of rawhide as a tie to keep it secured to the saw. Yes, it's a little loose of a fit for this application, but it's still so much better than the oil soaked cardboard sleeve that I had previously for the Remington. This is a very good bar and chain cover overall.

An inexpensive product to protect your chainsaw from dulling or causing inadvertent injuries while not in use. Nothing clever about this item. It just functions the way it should for a few bucks. Unless you're looking for a case this certainly will do the trick. Highly recommend.

This product as a safety feature on any 16 inch chainsaw does its job.
Once the chainsaw is set aside so the logs can be readjusted the chain cover is used to safely sit on the chain and protect the user.
