Summary: Warning 2007-12-26
Comment: I was disassembling a tree that had fallen after a bad storm. It was the first time I had used the saw. It worked great for the first half hour on the small limbs. Then the chain came loose when using on a thicker/larger limb.

Summary: Best for the cost 2007-11-21
Comment: As long as you realize the limits of a small electric chain saw its a 5 star. I use it to prune lilacs, yellow willow trees, cut up blown down limbs, and to cut up small diameter wood for fire wood. About up to 2 to 3 inch diameter. Beats digging out the gas chain saw used for much heavier work. I would buy another.

Summary: good for the job. 2007-06-12
Comment: light and powerful for smaller trees and limbs. suggestion to vendors: it would be nice to have a 2-oz or 4-oz starter bottle of chain oil shipped in the box to get people started as soon as the box is opened. there is none. have to get to a hardware store first.

Summary: simple and easy to use 2007-06-10
Comment: there really isn't too much to keep you from working on small projects in the garden or yard with this item. It's a rather simple and easy to use saw that will quickly get your yard job completed. I would not recommomend it for really serious cutting jobs, get a gas powered saw for large trees, etc. This is very light-weight and you should find it capable enough for most projects.
