Summary: Won't start 2007-08-26
Comment: Bought item over a year ago; used it once. Yesterday after gassing and oil I couldn't get it to start after nearly an hour of futile attempts. Followed the instructions to the letter and still nothing. Frustrating at this price.

Summary: Good Saw - once fuel line replace 2007-05-15
Comment: I was going to give this saw 1 star because like the 1st reviewer it was real difficult to start and after 3 uses wouldn't start at all. I cleaned the filter, cleaned the carb, used started fluid, and changed spark plug with no luck.
I decided to pull the handle/gas tank off and found that the fuel line had several nicks in it, just enough to prevent suction from the tank but not enough to leak. This was probably caused at the factory. I replaced with a thicker line from an echo dealer (hopefully more damage resistant). I followed the starting instructions and it started 1st try. Now, saw has earned back the other 3 stars.
I would give it 5 stars, but dealers that service Husqvarna products are not close to central Fort Worth, thus the reason I fixed it myself and the 4 star rating.

Summary: Great Saw, Lousy switches 2007-02-02
Comment: I've used this saw for a few years and have been very happy with it. It's great for cutting smaller trees and thick limbs. My only complaint would be the on/off and choke control. They are made of cheap plastic. My on/off broke off a bit, but still works. I think the plastic on the end of the pull rope hit it when I accidentally let go of it. In all fairness, it does say in the manual not to let go of the rope after it extends, but it seems to me they could spend a little extra on some higher quality controls.

Summary: Don't listen to the grumpy. 2006-12-30
Comment: This is a good saw. The only thing that I have problems is the chain oiler. I use a premimum bar oil but the oil runs out before the gas does. If I don't pay attention I overheat the chain which leads to extra chain sharpenings. The saw takes alot of punishment. I went from the 18 in bar to a new 20 in due to a tree that went the wrong way, but this is a good saw for the money.
