Summary: Can't beat these Huskys 2008-07-21
Comment: Bought my first Husqvarna chain saw in 1998; it's still serving me very well today. Had to replace a fuel line that had just gotten worn with age.
This saw has been an absolute mule. Starts every time. I mean - EVERY TIME. I've spent a lot of frustrating hours in the woods pulling on Homelites, Poulans, Stihls and Macs, and I can't speak enough for what a reliable starter this Husky has been.
I'd have gotten something a bit beefier than my 136 had I known it was going to run so well and been such a handsome investment.
My Stihl probably outcuts the Husky side-by-side; but I'll take the saved trips to the dealer over faster cutting any day.
Hope it helps.

Summary: Husqvarna 136 2004-05-08
Comment: I recently purchased a USED Husky 136 with a 14 inch bar and chain, from a local repair shop. It is a 1999 year model. I took the top cover off, pulled the spark plug and checked the cylinder head, and top of the piston for scoring, sludge, or anything out of the ordinary..it was clean so I put it back together, and pulled the choke, and pulled the cord..it started with 2 pulls..(once it sounds like it wants to start, push the choke in and start it!) I've so far used it to cut 9 trees that needed to be cut down. It works like a champ, and this is a USED husky! 5 stars for this one..I got a great deal on a good saw, and its saved me tons of money, and work! its light enough to cut thicket, and with a 14 inch bar I can cut up to a 26 inch tree with it..no problems!
